Software Group Leader-Embedded Research San Jose 140,000-160,000 plus substantial bonus Multicore Platform Technologies Group Leader As consumer electronic (CE) devices become ever more powerful, so do the platforms they are based on. The next generation of CE products will take advantage of the evolving multicore platforms. This highly visible, key position will lead the research efforts for the future of their multicore CE platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and directing CSL’s multicore platform research program. This is a tremendous opportunity to drive a research vision, build a world-class research group and deliver tangible, impactful results to various product divisions. The qualified candidate will have: *PhD in Computer Science with a minimum of 8 years experience (or MSc with 10+ years experience) *Deep expertise in multiprocessor or multicore software (in one or more of the following areas: compilers, debuggers, programming models, programming environments, operating systems, virtualization, applications) is essential *Expertise in multiprocessor or multicore architecture is essential. *Advanced understanding of embedded systems development is highly desirable *Experience with ARM cores is desirable *Experience in either an academic or a corporate R&D environment *Proven research track record including refereed journal or conference publications and patents *Proven team development skills *Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
